We are extremely proud of the professional coaching staff that we have at the Power Station and CrossFit Hood River. Our coaches all have extensive experience in the sports that they coach, are continually getting certified in additional components of their sports, and never stop improving, growing, and practicing in their sports.
Our private trainers have a wide range of expertise and specialties. Based on our clients needs, we are able to pair the right trainer up so that our clients are comfortable, motivated, safe, and ultimately successful in accomplishing their goals effectively.
Several of our programs are programmed in house by our coaches who have a direct link to the needs of their athletes. These programs include Boxing, HIIT, and Bike Endurance. Some of these programs are seasonally effected based on racing schedules and competition schedules. Our CrossFit program is designed by a world class group of CrossFit, Gymnastic, and Olympic Lifting leaders in the industry. We take great pride in the quality of the programs that we offer to our clients.
Meghan is our certified nutrition consultant. She practices through Precision Nutrition, and with her extensive knowledge through her Masters in Athletic training and her competitive level bodybuilding, we know that she can help you to get the body and performance that you are seeking.
It takes a big team to be sure that all of our members are properly taken care of and the gym is looking sharp all hours of the day. We love our front desk, administrative, and cleaning staff.

Hour Long Classes: CrossFit & Boxing and Thirty Minute: HIIT 30. Expert Coaches & World Class Programming.
Hour long bike training. Designed for both racers and fitness enthusiasts coached by expert cyclist trainers.
Sport Specific Team Training
Pre and Mid Season Sport Specific Training for Youth Teams. In house training and space rental.

Jeri McMaster CFL1
Jeri discovered CrossFit in 2008 in Portland Oregon when she was training for an upcoming surfing trip. She quickly fell in love with the training program, not only for the physical results, but for the community, and the mental strength that developed over time. After a couple years studying it in Portland, she left her design career behind, moved to Hood River and founded CrossFit Hood River in 2009 out of the Children’s Park. After outgrowing spaces twice and upgrading facilities, she decided to take on the project of a larger facility with significantly more offerings. It is now this ever evolving space. Jeri has a long list of certifications in the fitness arena from writing programs and assessing body imbalances to olympic weightlifting and gymnastics. She coaches classes of all varieties at the gym. Her passions have been CrossFit and Cycling, since she discovered both. She loves the opportunity to have a community of varying interests here at Power Station HR.

Joel has been a member of CrossFit Hood River since it’s very first month under a roof. Through the years he has been more than just a member, but a founding member of the family of CrossFitters. He has built a ton of equipment for the gym, repaired many a CrossFitter’s vehicle, and always been the man when help is needed. About two years ago he decided to take it up a notch and attended a level one cert. He is now our back up coach and many athletes favorite fun guy with interesting and cool warmups and a strong love for fun. His wife Jen, has also been an institution at CFHR.
Saul specializes in complete body workouts that respect your body’s natural movement patterns. If you have any physical limitations that have hindered you from being physically active, you found your guy. Through his functional training, your body will perform better, and everyday activities will become easier. Saul also comes from a sports background and has trained athletes of all ages and skill levels. Come prepared to burn and get that extra edge over your competitors!
Saul has a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Science and a minor in Pre-Therapy. His qualifications also derive from his experience working with physical therapy and athletic training clients, as well as his P.T certification through ADAPT Training.

Cheno has been with the Power Station for over a year now and has been an integral part of the development of a strong, connected community in the main gym. He serves has a visionary idea-guy, working with Jeri on events, renovations, and ways to build a strong community in the gym. He is known around the gym as the guy to ask how to “do stuff“ in the bodybuilding world. He takes great pride in his fitness accomplishments and serves as an inspiration to all that get to know him.
